WHAT ARE CHEMICAL OVERFLOW PALLETS ?

This means that when a chemical drum is used it only needs to be moved to the floor or work area. At all other times, it can stay on a spill pallet, thus protecting the environment from potential spills.

How do you clean the chemical overflow and leak pallet?

If waste is poured into a spill pallet, it must be cleaned using different devices and methods. After the spill is cleared, the pallet must be cleared of any remaining waste and debris. This can be easily accomplished using water and a detergent depending on the nature of the chemical. Waste water from cleaning waste from pallets cannot be disposed of directly mixed with rainwater. It should be separated and treated in other waste water units from the field.

Periodically, it is recommended to clean the pallet with steam. The high temperatures it contains ensure that all embedded chemicals and oils are removed from the surface of the waste pallet.
